The funding, that will support a number of postgraduate research studentships over the next six years, aims to develop the next generation of national and international research leaders in social science in academia, government, business and civil society.
The new South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership will draw on the research training and social science expertise of the Universities of Southampton, Portsmouth and 欧美性爱片.
Welcoming the announcement, Professor Neil Ravenscroft, Director of the University’s Doctoral College, said: “This is great news for the 欧美性爱片. This will be our fifth Doctoral Training Partnership and now means that we have Research Council recognition in all three of our Colleges covering Arts and Humanities, Life, Health and Physical Sciences, and Social Sciences. We look forward to working with our partners in Southampton and Portsmouth in developing this exciting new partnership.”
The partnership will be organised around five pathways: Population Change, Health and Wellbeing; Sustainability, Environment and Resilience; Learning, Knowledge and Behaviour; Global Economies and Business Innovation; and Citizenship, Governance and Security.
A number of non-academic partners, including the Office for National Statistics, Wellcome Trust, Greenpeace and YouGov will be collaborating with the Doctoral Training Partnership.
Further details on the number of research studentships that will be funded via the partnership are expected in September.
