Active Sussex is one of the 45 county sports partnerships across England supported by Sport England. Based at the university, Active Sussex aims to increase participation in sport and physical activity at a local level.
Sadie Mason MBE, Active Sussex Chief Executive congratulated Holly and the others winners and nominees: “The awards ceremony rewards quality, achievement, determination and commitment to those involved in sport across the county. Hearing their stories was truly inspirational and they are a credit to their sports and themselves. I hope that the winners, and of course all of those shortlisted, use this as a platform on which to build for further success in competitions throughout 2016.”
